Newport Winter Festival 2019, “New England’s Largest Winter Extravaganza,” brings 10 days of non-stop music, food, festivities, and fun to Newport County, RI. February 15th through the 24th, 2019.
Newport’s annual Newport Winter Festival celebrates its 31st return and you’re invited! Come enjoy over 150 different events, attractions, discounts, and more, all in a span of just ten days here in Newport County!
This massive, 10-day event is designed to take those winter blues and wipe them away with a heaping helping of fun and festivities.
Newport Winter Festival 2019 Highlights
The Eagles Experience – February 15
The most authentic Eagles tribute show around that reflects the band during their late 70’s heyday for the ultimate “Eagles Experience.” Spot-on versions of “Take It Easy,” “Hotel California,” “The Long Run,” and many others. 8:30pm
Polar Pineapples – February 15, & 16
Come check out Polar Pineapples upgraded venue! Purchase a cocktail from the ice bar and enjoy the best views of the bay from around one of the eleven fire pits. 3pm to 11pm
The 24th Annual Chili Cook-Off – February 16
Vote for your favorite chili as area restaurants and caterers compete to see who has the best in town! Wash it all down with Sam Adams specials. 11am to 3:30pm
Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band – Changes in Latitudes– February 16
Changes in Latitudes is the country’s premier Jimmy Buffet tribute band. Get up on your feet to the amazingly authentic versions of “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” and many other smash hits. “Trop Rock” fun for all. 8:30pm
Sam Adams Beer Dinner – February 19
A popular, annual tour through a beer-paired menu with a visiting Sam Adams brewmaster, at The Mooring Seafood Kitchen and Bar. Reception at 6pm, dinner at 6:30pm. Reservations are required: 401.846.2260.
Winter Festival Comedy Show – February 23
Laugh yourself warm at the annual Winter Festival Comedy Show. This year’s show features comedy club headliner and Comedy Central star Nick Griffin, along with special guest Ray Harrington. 8:30pm
Beach Polo – February 23 & 24
Enjoy breathtaking views and exciting action Winter Festival Beach Polo at Easton’s Beach, presented by the Newport International Polo Series. Great fun and a low-impact, eco-friendly, Rhode Island tradition! 3:00pm
