Save your appetite – the Spring Session of Newport Restaurant Week 2019 is coming right up! The week-long, bi-annual, culinary celebration of the Newport and Bristol County food scene is scheduled for the April 5th through the 14th, 2019!
The idea behind restaurant week is simple: provide some of the area’s best culinary offerings at an affordable price and the crowds will come. The idea debuted here in 2006 and was so popular that it has been exported around the country.
It’s true – lots of areas have restaurant weeks now – but none are as good as Newport County’s! In fact, Newport Restaurant Week was so popular, we ended up adding another week so that we have both spring and fall sessions.

Newport Craft Beer Festival 2019
April is also time for the annual Newport Craft Beer Festival!
Newport Craft Beer Festival celebrates the best in regionally brewed craft beers. More than 35 regional craft breweries have already signed on to attend, with more undoubtedly in the wings.
Ticket holders will receive a commemorative tasting glass, samples from all the breweries present, and an opportunity to cast their vote for the Fan Favorite Brewery Award. You even get to keep the glass! This year’s festival will feature a focus on the region’s sour ales! Pucker up!
