Rhode Island knows how to celebrate the holidays and the coming months are loaded with events. Few are as popular as the annual Newport Mansions Christmas Tour, however, beginning November 17th and running ’til January 1st, 2019.
Rhode Island’s Newport Mansions are always worth a visit. The Breakers, The Elms, and Marble House are National Historic Landmarks and icons of America’s Gilded Age. Visiting them is like stepping back not only in time but also to some fabulous world of refined comfort and ease. This fantastic effect is more than doubled once these stunning, historical homes are decked out for the holidays.
The yuletide finery includes thousands of poinsettias, a forest of Christmas trees, sparkling silver, glimmering gold, wreaths, white candled windows, and so much more. All three mansions will be open daily for tours from November 17th, 2018 through January 1st, 2019.
Beyond all the spectacular decorations, a Newport Mansions Christmas also offers a variety of holiday events.
