Newport Restaurant Week is your chance to sample the offerings from some of our finest local eateries at a price that won’t break the bank. Throughout the event, a broad selection of Newport and Bristol County restaurants will be offering $16, three-course prix fixe lunches and $35, three-course prix fixe dinners.
If you’ve seen and enjoyed other restaurant weeks around the country, you can thank Newport County, RI. We came up with the idea, spearheading the movement by holding the very first Restaurant Week in 2006. Restaurant Weeks are now part of a nationwide movement and continue here as an annual event.
The idea behind Restaurant Week is a simple one. People should have the opportunity to experience the area’s vast culinary talent at an affordable price. The concept was so popular in practice that we now have two Newport Restaurant Weeks! There’s one in the spring and another in the fall, each featuring more than 50 participating, local restaurants.
